The way we had presented it was all up to us however it had to be limited in time and it had to use both types of shots. The shot reverse shot had used the 180° rule where the camera has to be at the same over the shoulder shot for both of the people speaking meaning it turns exactly 180° when changing the shot to show the other person speaking so we only concentrate on the person speaking. The match on action shot was a shot that had changed the cameras location and angle instead of panning after the character there for creating more short and better looking shots which still clearly show where the character had moved and in which direction.
Since the preliminary task I think I have developed a lot more skills as I can operate the camera and the tripod better as well as looking more at the props, costumes, background noise and etc. I am now able to cut the shots more appropriately to make the overall result look better as well as finding more effects to make my video look better for example using effects between shots to make them flow better. As well as this I had learnt how to add certain sounds onto the video to make it look more appealing as well as setting the mood. Since the preliminary task I had developed more skills in almost every aspect of camera work and using iMovie. This had made the quality of my work improve as it can be seen in the opening sequence of Daddy's girl.
